Pastor Matt Kaiser
Matt Kaiser grew up in Eureka, MO and joined the U.S. Army a few years after High School in 1994. He served our country for five years in the active service. Soon after losing his twin daughter in a tragic accident, he was born again on the first Sunday of August 2002 at Lafayette Bible Baptist Church in Manchester, MO. In March of 2003, he surrendered to preach the Gospel. He immediately began serving in the church's Sunday School bus, children’s church, nursing home, and in prison ministries. In 2008 Matt and his family moved to Elgin, IL to enroll in Providence Baptist College, graduating in 2010 with a BS in Pastoral Theology.
Matt and his wife Linda were married in 1995 and have been blessed with five children. Maddie, Cheyenne (In the Arms of Jesus), Seth, Yahna, and Sophia.
One month after graduating college Matt was contacted by the men of Bethel Baptist Church seeking leadership and was voted Pastor on July 11, 2010.
Francis Urhahn was saved from a life of sin and bondage October 30, 2005. Just a few months later he became a member of Bethel Baptist church. While at Bethel Baptist Francis eventually served as the youth leader, assistant song leader, and in May of 2007 Francis surrendered to the call of God to preach the Gospel. After serving the Lord for three years at Bethel the Lord moved Francis to Lafayette Bible Baptist Church located in West St. louis county. While at Lafayette Bible Baptist he served as a Sunday School teacher, youth leader, was the director of Spark of Grace, and was a student of the School of Prophets.
Francis and his wife Sheryl have five children: Dane, Dakota, Kayla, Giovanni, and Chloe.
The Lord has now called Francis back to Bethel to serve as the Assistant Pastor and Youth Leader.
Ted Demay grew up in a church through out his childhood but was saved later in life. October 30th 2005 at the age of 30, he was saved from a life of sin. He was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church and served as a bus leader from 2008-11 and a children’s church leader from 2010-2014. The Lord moved him and his family to Bethel Baptist in July of 2014 where he and his wife have been teaching children’s classes since.
Ted and his wife Melissa have two sons: Silas and Evan.
Patrick Stephan grew up in church all his life. He received Christ as his Savior early in life under the AWANAS program. As a teenager he surrenderred his life to the Lord and later went on to Bible college at Grace Baptist College in Gaylord, MI. He graduated in May of 2010 with a BS in Biblical Theology. In 2012, he moved to Missouri and later that year became the Bus and Jr Church Director.
