Soul Winning/ Visitation

Each week on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings folks from the church meet together for a few minutes, pray, and then head out into the highways and hedges to compel the community to come in. Luke 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

Babies are very important to God, even from the moment of conception.  At Bethel Baptist Church our Nursery workers are the best of the best trained to carefully and lovingly ensure your child’s safety and well being.  Our nursery workers are very active with your children while they are with us, reading them Bible stories and teaching them songs that honour the Lord.  Matthew 21:16  And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say?  And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

Every week Pastor Kaiser visits at least one and sometimes two inmates in the Jefferson County Jail.  Often times these men have been abandoned by friends and family and just need someone to love them, to be there friend, and to tell them of the truths from God’s Word.  Pastor Kaiser, if you can imagine, has found a captive audience.  Matthew 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Bethel Baptist Church now collates, staples, and cuts to the appropriate size the combined books of John and Romans to be sent to various countries throughout the world. We are able to work with the World Missions Bearing Precious Seed and the Maranatha Baptist Church in St Roberts, MO. This has given our church has the distinct priviledge of getting the Bible to those that have never had it. Bethel has already had a part in sending thousands of copies to the countries of India, Mexico, and the Philippines.  Psalms 68:11  The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

Bus Ministry/Jr.Church

Every Sunday morning our Sunday School Bus, carrying trained workers, picks up children, teenagers, and adults from all over our community and bring them to church. We sing songs, play games, and provide breakfast.  Then upon arriving to the church we sing more songs, take prayer request from the children, teach a memory verse, have puppets, a felt board lesson, and a crafts (once a month).  Each Sunday ends with a short Bible message and review games. Your child will have a fun time learning the Word of God!  Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Nursing Home

Our Pastor, along with a few church members, minister at the South County Nursing Home.  We round the residents up gathering them into the chow hall where we sing a couple of songs. A short Bible message is then given from the Word of God.  The residents are loved on and informed of how exactly to get to Heaven.  Proverbs 20:29  The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of old men is the grey head.
